Independent businesses running Pebble day to day, each as an isolated tenant on one platform. Snapshot: July 2026.

Problem

Small and medium businesses run their operations on paper, spreadsheets, and chat threads. Enterprise ERPs — and the consultants they require — are priced and designed for companies ten times their size, so the businesses that would benefit most never adopt one. The gap isn't features; it's an ERP shaped around how small operations actually work.

Approach

Classic ERP implementation discipline, applied at SMB scale: map each business's processes first, then scope modules to what the operation actually runs on. Two founding clients shaped v1 — an apparel retailer running the POS as its daily driver, and a plastics manufacturer running purchasing, BOM-based production, and B2B invoicing. Every module ships as a narrow, deep slice that a real business depends on the next day.

Module coverage

Point of Sale

Quick-key product grid with receipts and daily sales reporting, built for high-volume counter sales.

Inventory

Raw materials and finished goods tracked across retail and manufacturing flows.

Purchasing

Purchase recording that posts to accounts payable automatically in the background.

Accounting

Double-entry AR/AP core — every transaction posts its journal entries without the owner touching finance.

Manufacturing

Bill of materials and production orders: consume raw materials, produce finished units.

B2B Invoicing

Credit terms per customer (net 30/60/90), partial payments, and AR aging built in.

Reporting

Daily sales, AR aging, and the operational reports owners actually read.

E-commerce Website

Each business launches its own online store from templates — catalog synced with inventory, orders and payment proof flowing back into the books.

WhatsApp Business

Businesses connect their own WhatsApp number — receipts, order updates, and customer ordering that lands straight in the POS.

Architecture

A multi-tenant SaaS core with a double-entry accounting engine at its heart — sales, purchases, production orders, and invoices all post journal entries automatically, so the books stay correct in the background. An Expo/React Native app delivers the mobile-first front end on a Fastify + PostgreSQL API running on AWS, with managed authentication, full observability, and CI/CD that ships over-the-air app updates.

Outcome

In production with 20+ businesses across garments, electronics, cosmetics, jewelry, furniture, food service, and general retail — processing daily sales, purchasing, production, and invoicing. Nine integrated modules run on one multi-tenant platform — proof that real ERP discipline (clean module boundaries, one accounting core, per-tenant isolation) scales down to the businesses enterprise vendors ignore.
